If we don't quit eating out.....

I will weigh 500 pounds by June.  This is the remains of shrimp and rice with queso and a Mexican dessert - on Mother's Day. Below is my youngest granddaughter. None of them ever wants me to take a photo - or to post one. I think she's beautiful!!

Today we ate at The Weathervane in Chapel Hill with a new friend. Jim had quiche and I had an egg salad sandwich.

The restaurant has a terrace and we enjoyed eating outside in 75*, surrounded by flowers and foliages...

Tomorrow I am meeting the women from my old neighborhood at a kitchen store here in Cary, near our home. We will also eat out.

Wednesday finds us entertaining an old friend who has just celebrated her 91st birthday.

Thursday is the first of this season's "Thirsty Thursdays". It takes place on the cul-de-sac outside our home, and those who attend live on our street or the one we "T-bone". We will take chairs, drinks and munchies into the street and meet the neighbors.

Friday evening, we are entertaining the people across the street from us, with desserts and coffee.

We can't keep this up!!!  But there is no relief in sight, as our social life has ramped up considerably lately.  I am not sure if I am bragging or complaining.....LOL

Enjoy and have fun--I like it when we can eat outside (looking at the weather here, that is less of an option until fall.

Love it. That's how I felt the week I was in Florida. Everything was centered around food...and friends.

Every time I eat out or attend one of our church fellowship dinners I have to exercise twice as much.
