First, I have to say I have no clue who these people are. I found this photo when I was cleaning out my aunt's home after she died.
I do think it is a perfect example of what not to wear for a group photo.
Check out the old guy in the middle.
His pants are creeping upward and he's none the wiser.
The woman in the white and black blouse probably threw it away after she saw this pic. I would have.
And what's with the "Heidi - a -go-go in orange and yellow?
I have tried to think up a good caption for this one, but I'm coming up blank.
How about you? Can you caption this photo?

I think I'd call it something like "Family Dysfunction at its Best... or Worst".
I'm laughing too hard to really think! THat is classic! I bet the go-go girl was pretty stylin' for her time, but the grandpa dude in the middle is classic. Obviously before "Static Guard" was invented!!
I love the guy who couldn't put down his cigarette for one family photo!
And yeah...the poor guy in the middle, the waist of his pants is almost under his armpits, and all of his socks are on display!
You just know Miss Orange was like "Oh baby, I look goooood".
Time will tell.
Yikes! I ttoo am laughing to hard to come up with a name. Lady squatting in blue looks like she may have had a poopie in her pants when she crouched down.
"Imodium - We Use It As A Family, As A Sauce At Dinner, And Sometimes On Ice Cream"
I like the little guy with the tie on. His toilet must overflow a lot.
Perhaps they had had a death in the family and that's why Granpa's trousers are at half mast.
I envy you. I am longing to display some old photos, but in spite of a new scanner it won't do it. Sons may help next week - it's half term.
Is that a velour shirt on the guy with the cigarette? It looks like the go-go girl might belong to the guy behind her, they almost have a matched pair in color. As to a caption. Let's see! "Line up at the fashion police.... The Unusual Suspects." or "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia. Someone please say the lights went out while these people were dressing!" or "While Stacey and Clinton were here to give Grandpa a makeover, they were in such shock at this picture, they took the whole family to New York." LOL.
It's a wonderful old picture! wish I had a caption but I am too busy laughing, lol!!
I just think: why this lady on the right is doing crouching? LOL!
Love those old photos, they can reveal habits, period, stile, etc
The older guy in the middle just cracks me up. His pants are pulled up to his chest plus he seemes to be suffering from severe static cling on his pants legs. lol.
Anybody anytime in the 60s!
We always think we look good but looking back ask, "What was I thinking?"
This group actually looks pretty good to me.
PS OH it's static cling on those polyester pants! And notice...the smoking in the house!
LOL!! Heidi a Go-Go, that's hilarious!
The old fella's pants are like a melting candle, only melting the wrong way. I got such a chuckle out of your comments on the photo.
My caption:
It's hip to be square!

Judy, do you have an email address?
CAPTION: "Am I watching television....? Do I like it?..."
They all look like they are on a little something... you know? (LOL) I love that you found this and haven't a clue who any of them are!
Do you ever go to bighappyfunhouse.com Judy? It's all just Vintage Photographs, and so much fun! Different ones are added each day...and people comment and it's a great site to visit. And a lot of times the comments are hilarious...Rachel goes there, I know.
I think "Heidi a go-go" is cute as a button, Judy, but the clothes do reflect times long gone. I'd label the picture "Cute girl with lousy entourage"
Hope: the address is tickletwo@hotmail.com
Naomi: I went there before but lost the link. Thanks for reminding me.
"Four Generations and Static Electricity Generated."
This would be laughable if it weren't so frightenly familiar. I think that's me in the go-go boots, Judy. But I definitely don't own any of those other folks. What IS wrong with his pants??? The decor! I need that wall clock star thingy.
Her name wasn't Heidi, but I remember going out with a girl who looked a lot like that in the 70s (I graduated from high school in '75)
Aren't we glad our tastes are now more refined?
I'm just sitting here with a big grin on my face.. THAT photo is priceless!!! If that's not a perfect example of the 60's and 70's, I don't know what is.
