Oldhorsetailsnake and I have decided to mount a Maxine for President campaign. You can check it out at http://oldhorsetailsnake.blogspot.com. It was the April 29th post. She's a no nonsense kind of gal, so we think she would take care of all the problems that have arisen in the past 5 years or so. At the very least, she could probably catch Osama Bin Laden in no time flat!
Can you take just one more post about the coffee pot saga? I promise it will be the last one. The Krups pot I bought on Wednesday leaked 2+ cups of water all over the counter top sometime during the night, so it will go back to it's former home (Kohl's) and I will go to Sam's and buy their cheapest pot. It will probably work better than all the others combined. PLEASE tell my husband that I didn't spill the water, neither did I overfill the pot.

Listen here, Husband: Judy has a spotless record, a drip-free record, a no-I-didn't-piddle record. Be nice to her or my Lilliputians will be over to hammer on your toenails.
I have this new fangled Black and Decker, hang under the shelf and out of the way coffee pot. It brews, shuts off and stays hot for hours. The only thing, I can't ever seem to pour a cup of coffee and have all of it go into the cup. Someone suggested I slow down ... I also still have my camping pot, perk on the stove kind. Some days I swear I'm going back to making coffee on the stove.
Came by Michele's site.. Oh yeah, and will vote for Maxine too!
I had one of those expensive machines with lots of buttons & I couldn't figure out how to use it. My cute $12 one works great! Of course it's the coffee makers fault for the spill. Why would you over fill it since you are probably the one who has to clean it up.
And thanks for visiting my site!
Hello, Michelle sent me! I don't drink coffee so I have no idea what makes a good coffee machine but it always seem that the most expensive appliances give up the ghost first.
Hi! Michele sent me.
I have only used a Krups mixer before, which worked really well till I lost some of the needed attachments for it. Now I just use my powerstick blender to do all blending, mixing, and chopping.
That won't help you with your coffee, though. I had just a plain Mr. Coffee that I threw out when we moved, because I wanted all matching appliances in my new kitchen. So here a year later, we are without a coffeemaker, but I am getting the cheapest Mr. Coffee stainless pot I can find....as soon as $$ allows.
I know it sounds pathetic, but our budget is TIGHT!
Hi Judy - here from Michele's tonight. We have a stove top coffee pot and that always splashes coffee all over the place, leaving a nasty stain. Coffee's good though. Enjoty the rest of the weekend.
