Doctors, dentists, chiropractors, dermatologists, hair, nails, rehab, lunch with friends......and so on. Rinse and repeat as the shampoo bottle says. Trying to juggle appointments these days - it isn't easy. I need to see the eye doc, but i can't find the time to fit him in....LOL
I think I told you that I joined the gym at the hospital where I did my rehab. I have been going 2-3 times per week; doing the same set of exercises that I did during rehab. The only difference is that now I don't have to keep track of my heart rate and I don't get 2 ekgs while I am there. I was out for two weeks while on vacation, and I started packing on the pounds. I will try hard not to let that happen again.
The chiropractors have helped immensely. For six months, I have had to take 6-8 extra-strength Tylenol per day (I know that isn't good for me) but my back and hip pain required it. After one adjustment from the chiro, I am pain-free for the first time since I got out of the hospital. I have been going to chiropractors and/or osteopaths since I was 18, but none has ever helped as much as these guys have. I am so pleased to be pain-free except for some soreness - but that is to be expected. For locals: it is the office of Crabtree Chiropractic on Lead Mine Road, just north of Glenwood. Maybe they could help you too!
We're waiting for the new love-seat to be delivered. June 11 is the target date, but I am hoping it will be sooner than that. At the moment, my living room is full of my deck furniture. The deck was painted last weekend and almost everything had to be moved inside. It's a bit crowded, to say the least, and it all has to be moved before the furniture delivery. I think one of my grandkids will help with that. God Bless them!!

Good for you, wonderful those gyms. They get you moving and teach us not to hurt ourselves while we're at it. I went to pulmonary rehab in our hospital and joined also. Nothing like a great chiropractor. Keep healing,
I have always been a little wary of chiropracters. Not sure why. But I am wary of doctors too. I am glad that you are getting the help you need.
Well you are spending more time in the gym than I am, so good for you. And I'm glad you are pain free, even if you feel a bit sore. Before my Dad died it seemed all my time was taken up driving my mother to the hospital for different appointments. Not fun at all.
Keeping busy is good . You are so good going to the gym . I need to get back .
Hooray for being pain-free! Miracles do happen!
I am so glad to hear you're pain-free, Judy. Nothing is worse than managing the pain from one dose to the next.
I've been somewhat offline of late - life and all - but wanted to let you know I haven't completely disappeared. Thank you for continuing to inspire.
