The Oddest Things Cross My Mind....

1. If you'd like your Facebook page to be more active, join one of the fan sites for a soap opera or Dancing With the Stars. You will have more notifications than you ever thought possible!

2. Citizens who travel to west African sites where Ebola is flourishing should expect to be quarantined for a few weeks when they return to the US.  (and not complain about it.)

3. Politics is/are  horrible and 99% of the people who want to hold an office are only there for the fame, power and money it can bring. Very few have shown an overriding desire to be of service to their constituents; only to themselves - no matter what they say. I cannot wait for Election Day to get here! The only problem is, the hype doesn't always stop then.

4. It seems to me that I spend an inordinate amount of time and money in the pharmacy and the grocery, and I'd prefer never to visit either if I could figure out how not to. But I won't order and have delivery because I don't want other people picking out my stuff.

5. I love fresh air, and I don't enjoy coming inside after I've been out for a while (as long as the temperature is warm.) The French doors in the kitchen are open today and it feels wonderful. It was 75* with barely a cloud in the sky.

6. I think we need a universal hand-signal to tell people when they are not using their turn signals, or  if they leave them on too long. (And noooooooo....not that one.)

7.  Some people dress as if they don't own a mirror.

8.  Why do some stores and restaurants place their handicap parking spots so far from the door? Not only that, the cart returns are further for a handicapped person to walk to than they are for other people.  My pharmacy's handicapped spots require people to walk about 15 feet, on an uphill slant, while others can park right in front of the level entrance. It makes NO sense.

So many things make no sense, dear Judy--and that list is growing every day....I understand nothing, anymore. Truly!
I thought the whole point of Handicap Parking was to make it closer to the entrance---Wrong Again, I see. Like I said---Nothing makes any sense any more. UGH!

You are on a roll. Great comments every one. I just got through saying to another blogger that I pick my political candidates by a coin toss because I don't trust any of them.

Got to go with you on #3. We do have one candidate here who promises not to draw a salary if elected but that still leaves power and fame. Sigh.
