from Chicagoland drove all the way down to North Carolina for the weekend. We gathered at The Tiny House, the Spiffy's abode in Wake Forest, NC for a meal, along with other local members of the West Virginia Surf Report blog, including
Shiny Rod and Claire (no photo), whose blogs have been sadly neglected of late (so badly neglected that I can 't remember their blog names. :-()
I took pork tenderloin (my specialty), mac and cheese and fresh green beans. Biff grilled maple bourbon beef tips (divine) and we had potato salad. It was all goooooooooood! The weather cooperated beautifully and as the sun set and the temperature started to drop, Biff made a fire, and we gathered around it, a perfect way to end the day.

Would you share how you cook your pork tenderloin? Crock pot, oven?
Any added ingredients, special flavorings?
Thanks. :D
Sounds like great fun. I saw one of your posts to Peruby about pork loin and marmalade. How big were your pork loins weight-wise.
Oh Judy, that sounds like such a good day and evening.....And good food as well as good company....!
For some reason, this makes me happier for you than any other place you go.
What fun! It must be so fun to meet fellow bloggers....I hope to do that some day! I too would love your recipe for pork tenderloin!
Hey, did I miss something? Celia said she saw a post to me about pork loin and marmalade. I LOVE marmalade.
I did not see the post, comment or get a message. ???
Peruby, I left the info as a comment on your latest post. I don't have your email, so that's all I could do. Read your comments.
I've only had small blog meets.
A big one would be quite different I imagine. You must have had lots now
