July 2, 1964

is the day we got married.

Forty-nine years ago today.

It is hard to believe it has been that long  (on the one hand), and on the  other hand, it feels like eons.

I have re-posted the story of our wedding quite a few times, so I won't do it again. But to those who said it wouldn't last....

Nanny, nanny, boo boo!!

Lots of people said ours wouldn't last, either. 31.5 years later, here we still be :)

Congrats big time. That is some mile marker. Those who scoffed are probably on their second or third by now.

In church this week it was announced that a couple will be celebrating their fifty anniversary in a few weeks... (If they make it, cause the groom said he'd been married for 45 happy years and he wasn't saying anything about the other five).

Happy anniversary!

49th! That's the diamond anniversary! Of course, I've been telling Dave all of them are the diamond anniversary, so he keeps taking me to a baseball game.

You set the example for the rest of us to follow, Judy. Mazel tov to you both. Here's to many, many more.

Gotta love the naysayers. May I join you in razzing them?
