Stephanie Decker is a woman who protected her children when the recent tornadoes in Indiana raged through and took her house. She lay atop her children, whom she had wrapped in a comforter, and saved them from any harm, but lost her legs in the process, as well as her home and most of their belongings.
She and her family will need a lot of money to cover the expenses of her surgeries, recovery time, physical therapy and prosthetic devises. Please find it in your heart to contribute, if at all possible.
A fund has been set up for her here:

A remarkable story of courage and love.
I read this story, what a brave Mother. The story that is breaking my heart is the whole family who were killed. The toddler found it the field. We haven't given yet, so many sad stories. I like to give to personal funds like this.
I have read the story but the video doesn't work for me. What a brave woman.
Thanks Judy. I saw that amazing story and appreciate an address where I can help.
I read about this in the morning paper. Thanks for making us aware.
Such a touching and amazing story...! This woman is such an incredible example of loving feircely, and protecting one's children, without question....
Such a beautiful story.
They hit here in Ohio, too. I donated to the efforts here.
And we always thought a basement was a safe haven in a tornado. What a heroic mother!
A lion hearted woman. Brava!
