Ha ha love the dialogue and the photos. I'm quite jealous that you have Cardinals in the States, and we don't here in the UK. I love the red. Do you get robins too?

I dearly LOVE Cardinals and we don't have them here in Los Angeles---OR, if we do, I've NEVER seen one here.
As a young child in Kindergarten, I made a made a Cardinal out of Clay and Painted him Red....My mother kept him for years and years---And I have him somewhere in some closet here in my house. My very faborite Bird!

LOVE these pictures Judy, and I hope they keep coming around for Food and Water....! So Very Sweet!

LL Cool Joe--Although there are some states in the USS that are not home to cardinals (including most of California), cardinals are widespread. As you are surely aware, your UK (European) robins, members of the Old World flycatchers, differ from the robins in the USA which are thrushes. The "American" robins are widespread throughout the USA. Most days of the year a few robins may be found in our yard (Kansas USA) while on many days, during the migrational seasons, we may have as many as 100. They have a beautiful song - especially enthralling at false sunrise during the warmer months.

Hi Judy...I am having a problem reading your newest post---it runs into the info at the bottom of the post (That info that is at the bottom of every post)---AND, it runs off the page and I cannot see the rest of it, at all....
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem....It's like it got stuck somewhere between "draft" and "publish" in a new format or something...I am using this comment box because I cannot get to the comment thing on the actual pot....
I'm not having this problem on any other blog so I thought I should let you know, in case it is an internal problem in your Dashboard....!
