I should have known that "soul" quote came from C.S. Lewis. Such a favorite writer.
Did you know that C.S. Lewis died Nov. 22, 1963 the same day Kennedy was assassinated? Did you know the C.S. Lewis was called "Jack" by his close friends? Lewis was such a great man but his passing was over shadowed by Kennedy's death. I did not learn until weeks later of the death of C.S. Lewis.
That is a very nice photo of you receiving your tickets.
That's neat that you won those tickets. Which one is you?
And I love that CS Lewis quote. So true.
That's a great photo of you!
That's so true about the soul. That's why when you see a dead body it looks soulless.
I love the C S Lewis quote.
@Granny Annie Since you are a fan of Jack's, you might like to read this:- http://www.grannymar.com/blog/2011/09/25/a-wardrobe/
Loved the quotes, Alexander's is my favorite because its what I believe also.
Love the pic!
I liked Granny Annie's reply. I did not know C.S. Lewis died in 1963. My father knew him & Tolkien. Think I'll goggle C.S. and find out more about him :)
take care
Really nice photo of you Judy....! Is that for this coming Summer? And, who is the other laxy in the picture?
I like that CS Lewis quote very much--and feel it is so very true.
One of my very favorite films is "SHADOWLANDS" which was about him---I don't know how accurate it was, but I thought it was incredibly moving....!
Wonderful picture of you but then the camera does love you. You ought to just once post a scary picture of yourself to make me feel better:))
Thanks, Patti. Believe me, there have been plenty of scary photos of me over the years! LOL
That's a wonderful photo of you Judy...but then I don't think I've ever seen a bad picture of you. Congrats on winning those tickets.
Well done Judy. Can I come please?
