Well, Glory Be!

And glorious she is. Her name is Angie, and she writes at:

http://www.bigredcouch.com/journal

and she is a GENIUS! I sent her the saved template and she got it all back for me and I still cannot believe it!!

There were two good things about the other template: 1. I did like that color; sort of a pea soup green and 2. They had a drop-down menu for the blog archives, which I think improves the look of the page, immensely.

Maybe someday I can have that and still maintain my old links and badges. I am just so indebted to Angie, not only for her expertise, but also her willingness to help.

Other people who bent over backward in giving me advice were Claude, of : http://covonline.net/ and also Carmi, of: http://writteninc.blogspot.com/

The niceness of all you guys on the web and on blogs will never cease to amaze me. You have restored my faith in the milk of humankindness!

Yes, Judy, that milk you write of is indeed wonderful. But now I'm more afraid than ever to try to change. Why is it that the things that are advertised as "So easy!" ... aren't?

Hi judy,

Michele sent me.

I'm so sorry to hear of your transitional problems... I had some similar issues as well. It all seems to be working ok now though.

It's great that they were able to get you back in business, Judy. Bloggers to the rescue!

To the rescue is right! I wish I could do something nice for everyone who tried to help or offered sympathy! The new Blogger is okay, if you don't mind losing your original sidebar stuff, or if you know how to get it back. For all others, it is a nightmare!

Thank you for stopping by my blog earlier, I'm inclined to agree with you on the pictures, but teenagers have to experiment & at least if she gets tired of this experiment she can just take the ring out! Glad you've got your problems with your blog straightened out.

I do like this oldie but goodie...hear me clapping and see me smiling...sometimes improvement isn't the best option. Because I barely worked with "alpha" Beta was no big thing to me. I feel lucky everytime I can get my cranky old dial up to connect and then am able to figure something simple out!!!

I'm thrilled it all worked out in the end, Judy. Glad you're back in business!

I arrived too late -- glad you got it all straightened out. Blogger is evil, I've decided, and I got out before having to switch. I'm sure glad I did!

Ha ha! You got it back! Your friend sure did a good job.
I wish someone could fix the code in my wordpress template in the same way. But until now, no one has offered! :(
Enjoy your blogging!

Glad you're back in business again. There truly are SO many kind and great people in the blog world. Just another little fringe benefit of blogging. It kinda restores my faith in humanity...lol
