Tuesday, January 16th is also a special day: this is my second blogiversary! Little did I know two years ago that I would still be doing this everyday, and I certainly didn't know how much fun I would be having doing it! It must be rewarding; this is post # 977!

At the risk of being repetitive, I'll say yet again how much pleasure you bring me daily. I hope it never has to stop. Thank you for all the visits and comments, and thank you for your writings, which are interesting, humorous, educational and compelling enough to keep me coming back. Here's hoping for all of us a wonderful and productive year in 2007.

Judy...

Congrats on one year! That is awesome. My first post was on August 16, 2006...5 months! It has gone by so fast. I am sure that you think so too! It has been my pleasure to get to know this side of you and become friends. Who would have thought of this in 1973??? Thanks again for the pic!

Happy Bloggerversary to you! I look forward to many more!

Happy Second Blogiversary!

I wonder what you are suppose to give someone on their second blogiversary? A new 'mouse pad' perhaps cause the old one is about worn out? :)

Congrats, Judy. You're well ahead of me. I've got 10 weeks to go until my two year mark--and I've only had 591 posts versus your almost 1,000. That's a lot of posts in 2 years!

Hi, Judy! Congratulations on the anniversary!
This is my first visit to your blog, and I'll be a frequent visitor from now on!
Sometime ago I received two photo albums with pictures of my mother's family, and I can't identify most of the people there, but the pictures are fascinating, as yours are, for what they show of life in the early 20th century.
I was in Raleigh many times, and I love the Triangle area!

Happy Blog Birthday. I just celebrated my first. I agree, it's been a trip and a fun one at that. I get so aggravated that with my busy career I don't have the time to post that I would like to, but when I get to it it's always a pleasure for me.

Been catching up on all your posts of late. Love the old photos. An old aunt from my adopted side of the family (have met her ONCE) recently found me and sent me an entire CD of pictures of that side of the family from years gone by. There were even a couple of me when I was about 3 (44 now). I thought of you and all your old photos when I was watching the CD.
