I'll try for the third time. I like the catastrophe quote. Nice sunrise, as well.

Wow! I love your sunrise. The summer Nyssa and I went down to the beach at 5AM to see the sunrise, it was more pastel... I think because there was a thin bank of clouds off at the horizon, so the light came a bit before the disc. Perhaps it was the time of year. It always amazes me how different and unique, each sunrise and sunset are.... oh, yes and each moonrise as well. Gorgeous... thanks for the link.

I discovered that Blogger no longer resizes the pictures like Picasa and BloggerBot did in Hello. So when I post a picture to be large on the page, the saved picture (the one you click on to get bigger) is the full size. This takes up the alloted space at Blogger and made my picture look funny, grainy and it wouldn't fit on the page. So I've been changing it from 1600 to 800 in the HTML after it is posted... hope that works, at least most of the time.

Now.... how to get the Tag List on the sidebar...

When we lived in Chesapeake, we didn't catch many sunrises in Va. Beach. We loved to drive down to Sandbridge and watch the sun come up. I'm going to have to dig all those out now.

KJ: We lived in Chesapeake from 1989 thru 93 when I got out of the Navy. We lived just down the road and across from the Chesapeake City Hall in the Pines of Warrick. Our favorite house ever and the neighbors were great. I tried to find a job with Virginia Power when I got out so we could stay but had no luck. We really loved it there.

Beautiful!!! I love sunrises and sunsets, they make me think that the spectacle of life is there every day for free for us to admire! And we sometimes miss them...

I am wishing right now that I knew more quotes Judy. I always love reading these...thanks for finding them and sharing.

Judy, Bush muddled the Hamas comment. Unlike the rational people you quoted.

The Lorenz quote is funny but a little too close to the mark, I think, Judy.

Good luck with your Blogger travails. Give me a call if you need to be walked through anything.

Living where I do, the sun sets over the ocean. Even when we lived in Puerto Rico, we lived on the west side of the island. I have never seen sunrise over the sea and would like to.

I also liked the apostrophe with fur.

Do you suppose, what with Cooks in both of our families, that we are related? The Cook part of my family is one that I know very little about.
