Notice anything new?

I stumbled and bumbled around in Bloglines this morning, and after 4 tries, I was successful in putting my blogroll on here. Afterward, I checked some of them to make sure they loaded correctly, and a few didn't - so I don't know why or how to correct the problems.

Granny Annie asked me this morning in a comment about how to use Bloglines, and the best I can tell anyone is to go to that site and click all the links and try to figure it out. That's what I did. If you download the "subscribe with Bloglines" button and put it in your favorites file, you can click on that link while any blog is on the page, and it will automatically load it into a file for you. Then when you click on that file in your favorites list, up pops a list of all the blogs you have entered, and the ones that have new posts will be in bold face type. I should mention that sometimes the bold face will show up on a link I have already read, and I don't know why that happens. But in general, it has really helped me to have it and cuts down on the amount of time it takes to read all the new posts each day. I hope that helps a little.
As far as my blogroll is concerned, some of those links were added yesterday, and I often will "favorite" a link until I have had time to check it out and then it may or may not go into the final list. If you don't see your blog, and you would like to be on the list - email me.

Judy, you have undoubtedly mastered the Bloglines thing. :)

In my experience, the feeds that do not work (showing the red exclamation point) eventually get fixed. Now don't ask me how and by whom, because I think it is pure magic. They just eventually get fixed, and that's all I need to know to be happy.

Wow! That's a long blogroll!
I like Google reader myself as it has a convenient notifier. Anyway, you do go through your blogreading a lot faster with an RSS reader, whatever it is.

It took me much longer to handle blogroll than you. Good for you. It certainly makes my life easier. I haven't turned it into a blogroll yet.

Hiya!

Technology too new for me. Shoot, I can't even make HaloScan do what I want. I'll catch up to you whippersnappers and your fancy gadgets soon.

I came by to say wow, you really impressed me with your posts at Brenda's. How cool to turn that around! That's good friending right there.

Heck sure I'd like to be included if you like, but I'll still be your friend if not.

Congratulations. I like the idea of seeing which ones you have read, but I haven't around to have my blogroll done right, I have to manually add names.

I'm happy you have that Blogroll Judy! It is great to have, for sure...Blogger is so bizarre...I do not understand it, at all....Why it should be so difficult to do everything and anything...God only knows! (lol)
I hope you find out how to change...I haven't done it yet and am afraid I might run into some horrible problems...UGH!
Thanks for voting for Whitney, dear Judy...I dearly hope she wins.

Well my link works fine! i have been on bloglines for a while and all of a sudden I was having that problem with 1 blog where it stayed bold even after I read it. Turns out I had done something to make it say bold. I fixed it, but I don't remember how. Just keep cliking. You'll get it.

Hi Judy. I started using Google Reader a few weeks back. It's an RSS reader that supports blogs and other types of sites. Because I do so much reading for work, I thought it would be a good idea to toss it all into one tool.

Google is also remarkably good about delivering fast, agile applications via the web. I've got a Bloglines account, but I've always found it a little on the clunky side.

I know, I'm way too geeky for my own good :)

Hi Judy, well done with bloglines, with my normal browser (firefox) most of your sidebar stuff shows up at the bottom, I had a look using Internet Explorer and it's all at the side.. go figure
You Have and around Mike aka Hale to make him # 1, Mikes good, but not that good!! You also have Loose Leaf listed twice.
