I bet you thought you had seen the last of my frogs. No way! Here are 2 more examples. This froggy king is actually a box. His hinged top opens to reveal a small space for any treasure you might wish to
store. At the moment, he is empty, but wouldn't he be just the place to store small candies? My grandchildren would love that (to say nothing of mr. kenju).

Below is a detail of the fabric on my dining room chairs. See - I told you I was nuts about frogs, and these aren't the last of them either. Someday I'll show you the bathroom rug and my frog Christmas ornaments.

Many years ago I had a pet frog named Fred. Don't have a clue why I named it Fred. Freddie the frog would have worked rather well but no...it was just Fred. The name did play nicely however when Fred finally disappeared or eloped or whatever it is frogs do.

I finally just assumed he was dead so then I could walk around saying, "Well...Fred is dead!" :)

If I lived nearby, I would like to leave a few chocolate truffles in that frog box for you and Mr. Kenju (your spicy Italian) to enjoy.

In the book of Exodus, there was a plague of frogs sent on Egypt. I think you might have enjoyed that particular plague. :)

Currently, we are having heavy rain and thunder and lightning. Perfect time to blog and drink some hot tea.
Enjoy your weekend!!
