Pets: Past & Present

Muffin, the wonder dog (according to her greatest champion, my younger daughter). We had her for 15 years and she never went to the bathroom anywhere but my dining room floor. I have written about her previously, so I won't add to it here.
Tippy, my very first dog, circa 1945, doing what she did best - and often. We were on a trip to Ohio to visit my aunt and had taken a pit stop in a park for Tippy. I don't think she liked that I took her photo while she was busy in her toilette.....LOL
Snowball, who doesn't look so snowy white in this photo, where he was sprawled on my daughter's Pepto-pink sheets. The photo below does his fur justice. I have written about him before also. He is the cat who adopted me!
Storm, she of the piercing yellow eyes, the small white spot on her chest and a psychotic need to be wherever I am at any time. The one who will hiss and snarl at her sister, Eclipse, to keep her away from me.The one who sleeps on my shoes. The one who craves hot sunshine and scalding hot weather, and revels in it.
I had many more pets than these, but the photos have to be rounded up again. There were Kippy and Pete and Pud, and Fluffer, Snoozy, Sneaky, and Ping. And then my children's pets; Maggie, Cayce, Dude, and other cats, whose names escape me at the moment. somday I'll post all of them.

There is nothing nicer than a bunch of furbabies to get one through this crazy life. :D

Snowball is definitely a beautiful cat, Judy. He'd be great to have around just to look at. Muffin, on the other hand, wouldn't last long around me. I have a policy regarding pee. If you pee on the carpet, you live outside forevermore. I've even warned my parents in case they ever become incontinent.

They all look adorable! Love these pictures!

I had three dogs, all them were mutts, named Troy (male), Vick and Flora (female). You gave me an idea. I will make some day a post about them.

I had a pet one time, but I ate it.

Those kitties are so cute! My cat might even get a little self-conscious looking at them.

Pets that are no longer with us always remind me of the sentimental but meaningful rainbow bridge poem.

Your pets are beautiful and they were so lucky to have lived such loved lives.

Poor Tippy, so embarrassing.
I had a Tippy as a very little girl. He was a Chihuahua and he stole my toys. Unfortunately, he died after an accident and we didn't have another dog for a very, very long time.

I had a snowball too, or rather my parents did, along with a horse named King, ponies named Penny and Trigger, and a dog named Rex, and one named Trixie and cats, so many...I should post on pets one day.

Oh, how lovely that you have pictures of many, if not all, of your pets over the years. I'll have to dig up some of mine as well.
