This is my Mardi Gras frog, who wears a purple, embroidered cape in the shape of a butterfly. Some dear friends gave me this one. He perches in various places in my living room during the year, always reminding us to "dress for the occasion". In this photo, he is sitting on the top of my antique sewing stand.

My brother collects penguins. I collected Barbie dolls but my mom gave them away to a little girl in one of their churches after I left home. I'm sure she was deserving and needed them more than I did. Nyssa collected Beanie Babies and Puffkins. I always liked the Puffkins best. I don't think they make them any longer.

I see the coolest frogs sometimes, and I always think wow if someone had a collection these would be cute! Then today, we were looking at model homes and they had done the childrens room in green with frogs! It was the cutest thing!!
