Fat Cat

We all get heavier as we get older because there's a lot more information in our heads.

So I'm not fat, I'm just really intelligent and my head couldn't hold anymore so it started filling up the rest of me! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Judy,

There's another difference between women and men. With men, once the head gets full, the input of new information has to be equaled or exceeded by the loss of such vital information as "how to hear what your wife is saying," birthdays, anniversaries, and most everything except maybe sports statistics. (Usually the male head gets full at a much earlier age than the female head.)

Oh! I just heard some new information and I've forgotten what I was writing about.

Me too, Judy. Most of my life I couldn't get above 150 lbs and now I'll probably never see the light side of 200 again. As long as I can still see my toes.... all is not lost!

Oh I like this Judy! THAT explains my expanding waisteline, particularly since starting to blog...SOOOOO much new info coming in...Well, it has to go somewhere, right???? This is what I'm going to tell everyone, anyway! Thanks for Excuse #5342 as to why I an gaining weight!(lol)

This does not explain why I can put my mom on a diabetic glycemic index diet and she can lose over 60 pounds and I cannot. She doesn't exercise, not much anyway. She sits most of the time, at least until the knee was fixed.

This must be my excuse at least.

I thought this went without saying, and then you had to go and say it. Rube.

I'm with OldOldLady of the Hills, it has to do with expanding knowledge, not the fact I sit on my butt more than not.

Sounds like a perfectly acceptable rationale from where I sit. :-)

Hilarious! Except if I've lost a good bit of weight this year, does that mean I've really been losing brains? That would explain a LOT!!! :)
