Crab Nebula ~ Art in the Universe

If this photo of the Crab Nebula rings your chimes, hightail it over to this site for a similar photo every day, along with an explanation of what you are seeing. In this case, it is what happens when a star explodes. Read all about it in the site below:

Good stuff. Thanks for the link. (Another place I'll have to check out every day.) A real day's work would probably kill me.

I have this link bookmarked because, of course, it fits into the category of BIG weather even though it isn't really. Great photos every day! Crab nebula reminds me of Hoss' shirt: In the beginning there was nothing. And it exploded. :-)

The God's Eye Nebula inspired a sci-fi novel, "The Mote In God's Eye" by Jerry Pournelle.
...Kenju that floating dragon on my side bar is an icon from "Flaming Text.com". If it bothers you, you can click on the large "X" at its right. If yoy click on the text box, it will send you to that site. It is where I get some of my fonts and banners.

That's the way I'm gonna go. I'm get my bones in this bullet-shaped coffin and run it into a star and explode it good and proper so my ashes get well-distributed through the universe. Everybody has always said they want a piece of me.
