Before you do anything else today, go see this post and do what Kim tells you. This should be required reading for anyone who might ever need to go to a hospital emergency room!

That was great advice. Thanks for the link, Kenju.
Michele sent me this time. In the middle of the week, even!
Good info...thanks for sharing the link!!!
Btw, Michele sent me!
LOL! If Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit links to you, you get an "Instalanche". If Kenju links to you, you get a "Judylanche"! Thanks for linking to Emergiblog!
I visited:-)
You left your breadcrumbs at Michelle's and now I'm here which lead me to Kim's post on ER. Very sound advice indeed.
Michele sent me too!
My hubby is a firefighter/EMT and I'm always telling people that its a
good idea to have that sort of thing posted in your house in case they
have to come get you too.
Take care!
Thanks for the link, it is important for all of us.
Thanks for being a good game player and stopping by twice!
Great info there! Thanks for the link!

Thanks kenju (for visiting my site and the link to Kim). My mom already does the listing the medications thing for herself but I had no idea there's more to be prepared.
She knows her stuff and she's right about those things saving time. Let's hope we are not in the ER any time soon, but let's be prepared.
Thanks.
That all seems pretty obvious but I guess some people would need guidelines...
Here from Michele's this time! Good advice from "ONE WHO KNOWS"!!!
List the medications thing is important. When my mother was still alive she was on a LOT of medications and she just kept a list in her purse and updated as needed.
Yes, although it may seem obvious, a lot of times people don't do the things that are the MOST obvious. They become those tasks that you keep saying you'll get around to. This was a great bit of info, thanks!
Thanks for directing me over there!
Michele sent me this time, Judy.
I hope you're having a simply wonderful evening!
Being way too familiar with emergency room practices, much of that advice was a given for me, but it was a wonderful post idea because so many people don't realize what they're about to face.
Thanks a ton for the link!
