Jim, my husband, has been in Duke University hospital for 42 days. He finally received the okay to be transferred to acute rehab and will be moved tomorrow by ambulance, if nothing happens overnight to prevent it.
He will have to work very hard to get to a point where he can walk again, and we are hoping against hope that he will be motivated to do just that! Please pray and/or keep him in your thoughts. We both need support.

Judy, I'm so sorry to read about Jim. (I clicked over to your blog to answer your Question, "who is Wendy?" .. she's my niece and I've been posting her travels on my blog)
But, back to Jim ... I read your earlier posts and would have written sooner if I'd known. I remember fondly the nice lunch that Bud and I had with you two quite a few years back. Now Bud is gone (died last year)and Jim is on a long recovery journey. You are both in my thoughts and prayers and I will keep checking to see how you are faring. Sending love too.
