I stayed too long at the fair......***

Last night, mr. kenju announced that he was going to watch the football game on our large TV in the living room - whereas I usually hijack it for my programs. So I went upstairs to watch in my bedroom - on a miniscule (by comparison) TV.

I started channel surfing and landed on Trump's Celebrity Apprentice, which should be more aptly named Has-been Apprentice. After ten minutes, I changed to The Bachelor. After ten minutes of that, I decided that the two programs together could be called "dumb and dumber."  Such obvious displays of the lack of brains are seldom seen in close proximity.

I ended up watching Antiques Roadshow, which I always enjoy. Unfortunately, being flat of my back in bed - I fell asleep before it was over. By the time I got out of bed this morning, I had been in bed 12 and 1/2 hours. Yikes, it was hard to get upright again.....LOL

***from an  old song.

Hard to get up after so long but I'm sure you needed the rest. Recovery is its own kind of work. Be well.

You mean you didn't watch the game? It was a good game, and I really wasn't into either team, but was rooting for the Ducks.

Obviously you needed the rest!

Antiques Roadshow is the perfect show to doze in front of. Each time you wake up for a moment there is a new "old" item to view before you nod off again. Yes, it sounds like you needed some sleep.

I LOVE Antiques Roadshow....It is always delightful....I cannot watch either the Apprentice or The Bachelor....
But it sounds like you had a GOOD Rest! Best thing for recovery, my dear.....

I slept 10 hours the other night. I just cannot believe it. I've noticed it happening more often. WTH?

I had the same problem last night. I was going to watch a movie in bed but fell asleep before it even started.

I only get the basics on my TV but recently, at a motel, I clicked away to see what I was missing & couldn't believe the garbage that is being shown on TV.
I'll be darned if I'll pay cable to get me that junk.
Hope you are feeling a whole lot better and on the road to a full recovery.

Watching anything on TV sends me to sleep, that's why I don't watch TV at all.

You obviously needed the sleep!
