| Barclay Villa was the scene of last week's wedding, and a beautiful day it was, although a bit on the cool side. The Villa is fully decorated for Christmas, which may seem a bit odd for November 3rd, but I suppose they have lots of weddings and parties this month and next, and they have to decorate when they have time for it. Note: Mel and I didn't do any of the Christmas decor and I did none of the work in the photos here. |

Please tell me that the photos are from a previous year. Otherwise, IMNSHO, they've joined the preposterousness of extending the season about 5 weeks too long.

What a lovely setting for a Wedding or, in fact, for any party. I understand them decorating this early, because as you said, they no doubt have many many events happening all through November and December...! It looks so very pretty and festive!
Would be lovely for a candlelight supper of Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet)!

WOW - very posh. Yes, it's too early, but decorating for Thanksgiving at an events venue probably doesn't pay off. :)

Wow I've never seen such a fully loaded tree I bet that took a while to do! Everything looks really good I think.
What a beautiful place for a wedding! I love the table settings. Though I have to say that although they look really pretty, decorations on the bannisters on a flight of stairs make it very difficult for elderly people who need to hang on when descending!
Lovely decorations in a setting the couple will long remember I expect.
