in answer to her request for delicious recipes.
Then I thought, why shouldn't you all have it?
I cannot remember where I got this one, but I think it was in a magazine. It is a wonderful dish to take to a pot-luck dinner, or to make in advance and I can guarantee you will not have any leftovers. This recipe is supposed to serve 10 people, but I wouldn't count on that.
You can enlarge (click on it) and print; if not, let me know and I will email it to you.
P.S. Part of the directions got dropped: the recipe said not to make it with a food processor or a blender, but a regular mixer is best.

HEY JUDY...I COULDN'T READ IT CAUSE IT IS TOO SMALL FOR THESE OLD EYES, AND IT WOULDN'T ENLARGE...SO, I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE RECIPE...DO YOU HAVE MY EMAIL??? I HOPE SO...AND THANK YOU, INADVANCE!
I'll pass it on to the Mrs. Pirate. She and my boys love em.
I've had these and they're great- fattening by far- but great. My, you had a crowd the other day, Judy. I come just because I want to- nobody tells me to. :-)
The list was interesting and the debunking of the list more so. I don't know- my cats ears go in all directions. I think they have at least enough muscles in them to do morse code.
Oh, praise the Lord. I don't have to type some dylsexic mess!
If you can't see it, just click on it for a larger version.
I've got mine saved!!!!! Can't wait to try it out.
I got a helluva lot better recipe than that:
Go to a Chinese restaurant.
Get 5 lbs. of barbecued pork.
Send it to Ol' Hoss.
This is perfect for the holidays. I guarantee there will be no leftovers.
Well, there is another five pounds. These sound great. I will pass it on to my mom who collects recipes.
Um, yum. I should reprint this on Satiety. Guest Chefs *always* welcomed. ;-)
This recipe sounds delicous, and I'm going to take your word that it is. We have a prime rib roast every Christmas, and this will make a perfect pairing. Thanks for sharing.
Hey, thanks! This sounds great. It's wonderful to be able to make potatoes in advance.
Hi Judy, sounds delicious alright BUT I just boil some spuds(do you call potatoes Spuds in the US) with a little salt mash in some grated cheese and/or shallots, Done in 10 minutes and NEVER any leftovers, time allocation!!!
Oh wow... this sounds wonderful. I'll have to print it out ... I didn't have trouble enlarging it.
You know, I don't get too fancy in the kitchen, but I made some turkey salad after Thanksgiving to use up some of the last (and drying) meat. Everyone who tried it said I should bottle and sell this stuff. I have to admit it was simple as ever and yet the best I ever had!
Thanks for the recipe, Judy!
Wow, that looks so yummy! Will you email it to me? Then I can print it off later. Not really low calorie, but sometimes, you can't let that stop you, you know?
