This is my friend Nancy's home, decorated for Thankgiving. She hosted our book club on Tuesday night. We discussed "Salt to the Sea" by Ruta Sepetys. We all liked the book - but we're tired of reading about WW2 and Nazis!!
The table was set so nicely, with a bountiful centerpiece and "crackers" for each plate. I think we were supposed to keep them, but we all thought they were just decor.
This darling turkey graced one end of the mantel. I hope his foot doesn't get singed when the fire goes on!

My book club is weary of WWII and Nazis, too - we read All the Light We Cannot See and The Nightingale, this year. :) It's always good to know what other book clubs are reading.
I would love to start a book club in our little town. It would be interesting to see what books would be put up for selection.
I remember when you would share the wonderful floral arrangements that you made. I miss that.
My niece is doing all the heavy cooking Judy so I cam relax and send out Thanksgiving wishes to my blogger friends.
Interesting to see what other book clubs are reading. We just finished neurologist Oliver Sacks autobiography, Moving On -- he wrote Awakenings. January will be Notorious RBG but have had some novels.
