More Photos from the Dinner Party...

My wine cooler; an old painted washtub on legs. Not long after I took this photo, I noticed a trickle of water on the floor, and I had to put a bucket under the tub. Next time I will use sheet
plastic to line it, not foil!

Our fancy wine glasses. One of the women bought these as favors, but we forgot to tell the women that they should take theirs home.  :-(

Our chef  extraordinaire -  Toy Townsend

My kitchen table, set for the party. We had to have three tables in order to seat 13 women and Toy.

Toy explaining his choice of wine for a particular course of the meal; Kristina (our guest, visiting from Sweden), Pam and Nancy showing rapt attention.

We had a lovely time. I think I am finally getting the hang of entertaining  (especially when I don't have to do the cooking!)

Now entertaining when you don't have to cook is perfect!

When we had a big 25th anniversary party we had to put all our bottles of wine and beer into a large dustbin full of iced water! :D

What a wonderful party!!! Pity the drink tub leaked though...

It sure makes a difference when someone else is doing the cooking! I couldn't entertain at all, if I didn't have "Will"....This sure looks like it was a smashing party, Judy...!

You are so creative! Is that a saw over the kitchen doorway?

You make your tables look so pretty! Love the idea of a chef cooking for me - especially one as cuddly looking as Toy! ;)

My experience with lining receptacles for liquids is that there is ALWAYS a leak, even if its only a pinhole size - and the liquid drips out!

That's my kind of party!
Love the wine cooler.

If I had known years ago that I could have a lovely dinner party and have a celebrity chef in to do the cooking, I would not have served SPAM.

Do you remember that story, Judy?
