Quotes of Note

We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.

John F. Kennedy, 35th US president (1917-1963)

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.

William Shakespeare, playwright and poet (1564-1616)

Thank you for the quotes, Judy. In a similar vein is this quote from Alfred Lord Tennyson: "Live pure, speak true, right wrong"

Naomi had an interesting take of Shakespeare' quote. Guess he was a lot like parents, "do as I say, not as I write."
