Cats, Butt Bows, Flowers, Etc.

This is my boss's cat, Chester. If there is a sunbeam nearby, he'll find it.  (and yes, he really IS that fat!)

One of the mothers at a recent wedding. I liked her dress until I saw the butt bow.

Mel's centerpiece for a recent wedding.

The weather is to die for here today; 73* and sunny. But the wind is kicking up and leaves are falling like snow! My driveway is completely obliterated at this point, so I suppose I'll have to blow them off, so no one drives over the grass  (so I don't back out over it....lol)

Mr. kenju had a dentist appointment this morning, during which he found out he has a leaky filling. I found out the same piece of info last week, so I suppose we will both have to get new dental work done soon. Bah.

License plates continue to interest me. Some recent ones include:  SCHNOOK, Nevermor, and Snomob'l.

Are you watching "Once Upon a Time" and/or "Pan Am" on ABC?  I love both of those, and sandwiched in between them is "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO.  There is some good writing and good acting on all three shows. I know it is fashionable to claim that one never watches TV. I'm not going to be fashionable in that regard (nor any other, for that matter). Everyone needs "down time", when you can park your troubles at the door and get lost in fiction (or realism.) I enjoy my time staring at the boob tube. How about you?

Ban the butt bow! I don't want anything drawing attention to my rear deck. I love "Once Upon A Time," and will leave a family dinner to go home and watch the Masterpiece Mysteries on PBS, I really am addicted to them. I used to record them but my device for that is kaput for now, I will do something about that after Christmas.

Judy--OMG, that bow would look awful anywhere...let alone on a butt. Unimaginable that someone would were it!
You might check to see if your dentist's "leak detector" is faulty (or does he have a boat payment due?)
I hadn't heard of "Once Upon a Time"; but, I did watch about 10 minutes of PanAm last night. Obviously our tastes differ since I could not sit through another 45 minutes of it (I had tuned in a few minutes late.) Nor did I care for "Playboy", the first episode of which I watched. I think what bothers me is that, while meticulous detail is paid to costumes, much spin was put on what I saw, at least, to make it seem that the women were more in control of things than I recall their having been. Or...it could be my adult onset ADD.

The chilled out cat and the butt bow cracked me up.
Luckily the high winds have blown all my leaves away. No raking needed. Not sure where they ended up but no neighbor was involved.

Ummm, don't know about that 'butt bow' I certainly wouldn't wear a dress like that!
I love the photo of the cat's pose; very lady like for sure!

What would posses a fashion designer to put that bow there? Do you think the lady knew it was there or did she see it and say, "Oh I've got to have that dress with the lovely butt bow"?

I was shocked to look outside yesterday and see Ron on the tractor. He was mulching leaves so I ran out and did some raking to get them away from the house so he could drive over them. If they had been snow we would not have been able to get out of our house. It seemed to do Ron a lot of good to be on his tractor again, even briefly.

OMG, that butt bow. I've never seen such a thing. Bad bad bad!

Great temps here too, but things are about the change big time this weekend. Snow... bad bad bad.

We turn the TV on for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. We always need a good laugh at the end of the day.

Yeah, that butt bow has got to go...otherwise, nice dress.

Love Boardwalk Empire. Never got into Pan Am or Once Upon a Time...I'm already pretty booked when it comes to watching shows.

Have a great week Judy... ~Joy

I'll join the choir! What a place to put a bow. Surely it must be uncomfortable to sit on.

We've been watching Once Upon A Time...love it! Hate the butt bow...and that is one fat cat! Don't mind admitting I watch TV. We are sorry to see Dancing With The Stars come to an end this season.

Have to admit I had a butt bow - a bunch of orange blossom on my butt for my first wedding.

Love that cat!!! but not the butt bow...I don't understand some people's choice of clothing for weddings: it's the bride's big day, nobody else should demand any attention!
