Odds and Ends

Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history:

Spades - King David
Hearts - Charlemagne
Clubs -Alexander, the Great
Diamonds - Julius Caesar

See what others represent here:

I didn't know the each King represented a certain king or ruler in history.
However, I did know only one of the kings in a deck of cards has no mustache - or is it only one that has a mustache? I forgot, I am not very impressive with my trivia bits am I?

Michele sent me over again today, Judy.

I was out shopping last night and it was pretty quiet. I didn't go out until after 8pm tho. Various stores at Crossroads and then over to Fuquay for Wal-mart. It didn't even get cold at all until around 11pm. Freaky weather, huh?

Do you get the feeling that they just made up that info about the playing cards?

I always get this picture of Michele as a sort of blog traffic warden busily directing people hither and yon and I long for the day when I have a commenter who says the magic 'Michele sent me!'
