Help Me Out, Will Ya? Puh-leeeeeeze?

Mr. kenju wants your help! He played basketball for Georgetown University and they have a project in progress, to name the top basketball players in Georgetown's 100 year history, called "The All Century Team", to which he has been nominated.

We'd be much obliged for your vote. Go to this site:

http://www.guhoyas100.com/vote.cfm

There are three sections for nominees. Mr. kenju (Jim Carrino) is in the "Classic" section. If you hold the mouse over his name, you can click on it and see a photo and a brief profile. You can also go here to see a full profile:

http://www.hoyabasketball.com/thoughts/top100/j_carrino.htm

You MUST vote for any two people in the Vintage Era, any eight people in the Classic Era (INCLUDING JIM) and any fifteen people in the Modern Era. If you do not vote for the full number in each era, your vote will not be counted.

Then fill in your name and email address and click "Submit" to cast your votes.

You would make mr. kenju a very happy man, and me too, of course! We'd also like to know how many vote, so could you leave a message here if you did? THANKS!

I will try to do this, but you know this is very hard for when it comes to roundball, Georgetown is the enemy (and I can't remember who played for Carolina ten years ago, so how am I suppose to remember who played for Georgetown?)

BTW, congratulations to your husband for being considered for this honor.

And, it was her elbow...which wouldn't be life-threatening, except that she uses her arm to help with her walker, and sitting will stir up her congestive heart failure..oy!

Hey Judy, here from Michele's.

I don't enough about basketball or Mr Kenju to vote, but I am keeping my fingers crossed he does well!

Good luck, Mr K!

Ok, I voted for him, for a few more that I knew, and a bunch of guys I didn't know. Reading Jim's bio, it sounds like he was a very solid player! I don't remember seeing him, but I'm not sure if we had a TV when he was first born, and by the time he was a senior, I was watching Capt. Kangroo and not basketball. And since Georgetown isn't in the ACC...

Michele sent me to vote for James!

But it's such a quandry to decide who else to vote for. The only rule I have is no Bushes! I like the Flash header they have on the page. I want to make one for my blog.

I;'m down with Jim. Shame I had to vote for some of the competition as well---I was kinda shootin' in the dark on 2 through 8.

Here's hoping for a lay-up, or a slam dunk! Woot-woot-woot!
