I'd live in that last one, the treehouse, in a whipstitch. I LOVE IT!!! I always did envy the Swiss Family Robinson that awesome treehouse. That one is even better.
But those houses that are perched on the edge of death. . . . um, no.
FABULOUS!!! I'm sure you are right...if not photoshopped...then some other Magical Photo-Program..Some of these are great...!
And BTW: Marcella's book is availsble on Amazon...It was reprinted in 1998 I think...! It is quite dear....as I said, not deep, but certainly delightful and true, too!
Those look like they're some pretty odd places to live. The doghouse that mimicked the human dwelling behind it was quite grand for a hound. The huge birdhouse with the cat in it was funnier.
That last picture is real. It`s a restaurant in Okinawa, Japan. I drive by it frequently and have yet to stop and check it out even though the kids always ask me to stop. Maybe next time! :)
Thanks to Sonia and tigermama for letting us know which ones are real! If you know how to translate the writing on the pink-roof, upside-down hose, please let us know that too.
Hello Judy ~ These are great pictures, I like the tree house one. Definitely don't like the one on the cliff. All very interesting. Twisted chimney is good too. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Love the Avenue at Versailles, jst beautiful. Take care, Love, Merle.
I agree, some do look photoshopped. The colonial doghouse that matches the real house is probably real. I've seen a similar deal here in my neighborhood. A large Mediterranian stucco has a matching dog house. The dog house is as big as my den, lol!
The two on the cliffs, and the outhouse over the water are Photoshopped. Some of these are tourist attractions, some are works of "art", and some are for sale, like the colonial doghouse.

For real! Get out! I like the pink roof house too. Number 4 makes me break out in a sweat!

Wow....What incredible photos! But think I'll pass on all the houses...lol They sure are neat though.
The ones on the edge of cliffs? Kill me now rather than making me live in one.
(shudder)
The others are cool!
I think the fancy dog house is real, but some of those others. The pink upside down roof makes me think of .... the Wizard of Oz!
Very unique pictures for sure!
My picture is up too!
oh, my, very impressive pics!!
I think I will keep my home, lol!
I definitely wouldn't want to live in that first house! The purple one is kinda neat though.
Here via Michele's.
As Gary Grant would say, "Judy, Judy, Judy."
People live in those houses!!!????
I think they are put up jobs!!
Michele sent me over, Judy.

Cool pictures even if they are photoshopped.
it makes you thank God for bunglows, don't it! Yes, I'm sure they're photoshopped, especially the one overlooking Yosemite canyon.

Amazing! The first one is real, it's in Meteora, monasteries on pinnacles in Central Greece.

Oh, I wanna know where the tree house is, and the wavy warped shop. :) Fun!

The upside down house says the following:
"Sakasa resuto tonchikan" roughly translates to "Upside down amazing building".
Great Tigermama!
Really, it's an amazing building!
