Scherenschnitte ~ Part 2

A short break in the vacation series is in order, so here are a few more pics in the series of paper cuttings.

Remember the original post about this? You can find it in the archives for October 7th. These pics didn't get into the post last time.

Amazing! I can't cut a paper straight in half to save my life. c",)

Enjoying your blog very much. Keep at it and happy weekend!

Just goes to show us all that art can be made out of anything, and it is found everywhere.

I wish I had even one artistic bone in my body. Sure, my degree is in the arts (journalism) and I can write decently. But I'm a stick-figure kind of guy, and I wish I could do more.

Oh well. There's always photography. Pressing buttons is my thing.

These really are great, Judy. I don't know why they appeal to me so much, but they do. Your earlier post just floored me. It's amazing what can be done to simple paper with some dexterity and imagination. I still haven't tried to do any of the designs myself tho.

Michele sent me over to your side of RTP, Judy.

Michele sent me over, and all I can say is WHOA.

As someone who has no artistic talent whatsoever, and whose paper cutting has been pretty much constrained to snowflakes, it is pretty impressive to see these works of art.

These are brilliant. I especially like the tall wobbly one!
I've only really seen Scherenschnitte in 2D before as usually quite intricate lace-like pictures, so this is a revelation!

ANd Hiya - here today via Michele's!

Hi Judy..saw your comment on Michele....Blogger published my post to my archives...!!! (It did the same thing to CQ...)
I finally got it in the right place but I kept getting Error Messages...It is really a mess lately....I don't know how to contact them....Can't find where you can inform them of a problem....Do you know?
Blogger seems to be having more and more trouble.

It's almost shameful for me to say "Michele sent me" because I visit everyday!

I LOVE looking at all the photos you post, they're so awesome.

This post...just wow. Sorry I can't be more creative than that.
