More frogs Galore

Top: My handicapped concrete puppy. His foot is broken, so I have allowed the ivy to twine around his legs so it cannot be seen. The frog is named Michele, in honor of our esteemed

http://www.micheleagnew.com

We all know how she loves books, so I thought this was the perfect tribute to her!

The second photo is a close-up in a different position of the one I posted last week. It is a "pile" of different frogs, all climbing on each other. They are very creative and well-done, and their expressions are priceless. You have seen the fat one before, but he bears repeating, does he not?

The pile of frogs looks like something I saw on the menu at a restaurant in Geneva last week. I mean actually sitting on the menu.~,:^)
Here from the Mish-Mosh pit tonight!

Seeing your frog collection makes me want to go out there and get some pix of my fabulous gnomes! (But I'll wait until daytime... and the rain to stop, too!) Michele sent me over tonight, but I would have made it on my own anyhow! Hope you have a great weekend!

I love love love the handicapped pooch in your garden!

How you came up with masking his handicap is quite clever... and it really works because had you not mentioned it, I would never have noticed. :)

The frogs are great. More, more, more!

I'm sure michele is glad you named THAT frog after her, and not the one with the little crown!!

SO cute.

Here by way of froggy, er .... michele!

Wow Judy 45,000 plus visitors, it just shows if you write something interesting the world will build you a better mouse trap, (or something like that.)

Panthergirl is correct, I am so glad it is THAT frog that is named after me, and not the Prince Budda frog. I truly do feel honoured to have a frog named after me sitting in YOUR garden. As you know, there is a small Kenju frog that sits in my garden.

Oh, and I have a concrete rabbit that has lost an ear, it has been affixed several times but it is obvious that there is several "silicone scars" on the one ear, so just like your dog, I have allowed ivy to grow around it. Ah, yes, great minds do think alike, or fools....nevermind, we will go with the great minds thing, no?

Have a glorious weekend and hugs from me.

Puts me in mind of the old saying that doctors can bury their mistakes, but the best that architects can do is plant ivy.

Those stacked-up frogs are pretty cool.

Just love frogs - used to have a lot collection but divorce took care of a lot of them and limited room made some of the have to go but I saved my favorites. Just love the pile of frogs - now if I saw that for sale I would have to have it and would make room for it. My mother had a huge frog in her yard that she uses to prop one side of the front gate open - I want that frog so bad but she is not letting it go.

What a clever idea to mask the dog's injury. Love the pile of frogs....very unique.

Love the froggies! Your handipawed puppy makes ke think oh a little stone girl I have. She was part of a birdbath, so now her bottom is a little ragged. When she's on the ground surrounded by flowers, though, she looks perfect. Since we're renting now until we move, she's not out this summer.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me the wonderful comment. I am sorry for your friend; I hope she finds some comfort when you write to her.

Happy Frogs!!!

Kenju, you have inspired me to get my printer back up and running and to print my blog posts and what comments I have remaining on old posts. Thank you for that.

The frogs entwined remind me of the famous sculpture in Florence, The Rape of the Sabine Women by Bologna. The frogs are very "artsy". I have seen a set for the garden; frogs in the typical "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" pose. Very cute. I figured you might already have these.

I LOVE the fat frog.

He's like a Froggie Buddha.

Happy weeekend to you.

The fat guy? I think I went out with him last year. At my age it's hard to remember.
The kids are buying Peace Frog tee shirts for the summer. There are several styles but none of them look good on me. That's OK, I like them anyway.
In any case, have a wonderful weekend, Judy.

They are adorable! I love frogs! We have two tree frogs living right by our front door (behind the window awning) and every now and then they are brave enough to be out all the way - other times I only see a toe here and an eye there! I haven't named them yet....

Here from michele's today!

Love your frog collection! They're so cute! We have a restaurant here called Charlie's Frog Pond. It's decorated with frog wallpaper now, but once upon a time it had a huge frog collection on shelves. Very fun!
