Did You Know?

Good morning, everyone! Welcome to JustAskJudy.

Sweet Michele

has made me her site of the day, so hang around, read as much as you can, and come back often.

Here is something I received in email: full of interesting, but perhaps useless information. ENJOY! Edit: Utenzi says that half of these are incorrect, so you may want to see his comment and click on the link he provided to prove it. Thanks, Utenzi!

Wow! Congrats on being site of the day! I haven't been to Michele's yet this morning, so I will probably be back to visit.

And, yes people, read! She is a wonderful, fun writer!!! Plus, she's just full of fun facts! LOL!

Congrats again and have a great day!

Love the trivia! ...and good morning, Michele sent me!

You are correct. Those were all the facts that were missing from my vast storehouse of knowledge and NOW...as you said...I know everything there is to know.

I moderate my comments so nothing that I don't approve gets posted on my Blog. YET...they keep trying to slip something by me. Idiots!

Infants are born with patellas or kneecaps, they are just cartilage and not bone. They ossify later. Infants can have dislocation of their patellas.

There is a syndrome with absent or under-developed patella and absence of thumbnails. A rare genetic disorder called Nail-Patella Syndrome, among other names.

Congrats again on being site of the day.

According to this, I am a snail, and I may stick out my tongue to the alligators in the lake in my backyard and there's nothing they can do about it - bwahaha!

The goldfish thing - I'm not really sure about that. My son's goldfish rush to the top of the tank every time I walk in the room (I'm the one who feeds them).

Hi - Michele sent me!

Congratulations on being site of the day, Judy.

As for the "useless facts", about half of them are wrong so that does help the useless factor. LOL

Hi Judy, congrats on being the site of the day. I had no idea about Winston Churchill, you'd think we'd have heard that before.

Enjoy your day!

Congrats on being Michelle's site of the day.

I seems to me that if we could sneeze with our eyes open, it would be very painful. Makes me shudder to think of it.

This is great. And I really like it when I'm out with friends and someone mentions a random fact that may or may not be true and everyone ends up arguing.

There are loads of good ones here which have that is it/isn't it? factor.

Just right as we approach the party season!

Here today from Michele's.

Hi Judy!! I'm back, but here via Michele today.

I love that "facts" list. Maybe a fun thing to do would to make the very last one on the list be "Half of the things on this list are wrong. Can you guess which ones?"

Haha :-)

re: come back soon! Is this soon enough?? :)

I'm Blogrollin ya!

Couldn't happen to a nicer lady. Michele knows what she's doing, doesn't she?

And now? I am ready to kick some tail in our annual Trivial Pursuit marathon...

Congrats on this contest thing!!

These are great, Judy. I did not know that about the crocodile nor the shark. Having worked at the aquarium, I suppose I should be somewhat ashamed; yet strangely, I'm not. hahaha

Keep up the fine, fine blog.
