What's Your Guilty Pleasure?

Dr. Joy Browne asked an interesting question on her show this week: "What's your guilty pleasure?". I had to think about that one for a while. I have few vices since I quit smoking; one being the nightly cold beer I have before bedtime. Another might be the almost daily chicken filet biscuit from Bojangles, dripping with down-home goodness (also known as fat). Once in a while I feel guilty for eating them, when it dawns on me that I may be cutting my life expectancy short a few years. But I only allow myself their French fries once a week (or maybe twice), so I guess it could be worse.

My husband has a nice habit; occasionally he will buy a large candy bar, eat half and proffer the rest to me. He's nice that way. I, on the other hand, will buy one (intending to do the same) and eat it all! So that's my guiltiest pleasure................What's yours?

If you live longer by making yourself miserable.... Is it really worth it?

My guilty pleasure....hmmm...gotta be chocoalte, although I don't feel so guilty about it. Not unless I really pig out.

And I do the same thing with candy bars. If I get a big one I tell myself I'm gonna share, but I think that's only happened once...

Here via Michele's tonight!

Chicharrones. Mexican fried pork rinds from our local Mercado Sabor Latino. Bad, bad, bad, EVIL goodness. At least two Saturdays a month I stop by and get me some pork fat.

Guilty pleasures? Cannolli's from Menotti's (this fabulous Italian cafe here in Singapore) and potato chips when I'm PMSing. LOL!

By the way...Hihi...here by way of Michele's! *waves*

Chocolate cake! I always have a slice larger than I should. ALWAYS.

My guilty pleasure these days is a big iced coffee with HALF AND HALF. I've pretty much cut out dairy since last November, but I do love my rich and creamy iced coffee...yum.

I definitely feel the difference, though, when I haven't had it in a few weeks. I'm less puffy. Seriously.

Wow Judy, your blog has really taken off! You are getting a lot of hits and comments.

My guilty pleasure would have to be chocolate also....although I save it for "that time of the month" when I'm really craving chocolate badly.

The good news is dark chocolate is actually good for you, so eat away without the guilt. My guilty pleasure is McDonald's hamburger happy meals, I put the french fries in the bun with the burger and eat it. I'm convinced there is something addictive in them.

Ooo, Bojangles. Next time ask them for honey and put that on the biscuit. Yum Yum. I'm also into McDonalds' Sausage Egg and Cheese biscuit. Oh yeah, and beer. :)

Oh yeah and Michele sent me, and I know you've been to my site too! ;)

Hi Judy! I'd have to say that the occasional Reese's Cups out of the vending machine would be my worst guilty pleasure... but smoking would come in second. People question that I smoke and I will always maintain (as long as I have this monkey on my back) that there's such a thing as mental health too!

Food is definately not a guilty pleasure of mine. Read my blog, and you will know my guilty pleasure. Michele didn't send me, but I am glad I found you!

A nightly beer is a vice???!!!!
My vice would have to be my nightly wine, then. But I don't think of it as a vice. It keeps me sane! So I guess my "real" vice would be the use of f*** whenever I damn well feel like it.
