Oh, and to answer your question, I called the nice manager at Panera right away and thanked him nicely for the offer and explained that I had another offer that I couldn't refuse! He understood and bade me good luck.

ReplyDeleteThis poem was not written by Maya Angelou. I am a huge fan of her work and after seeing the poem on your website, I searched for a copy. I then discovered it was originally written by a journalist, Pamela Redmond Satran for Glamour in 1997. Thought you may want to know the real author!
