My New Exercise Program

Another email goody:

The Doc told me to start an exercise program. Not wanting to harm this old body, I've devised the following:

Beat around the bush
Jump to conclusions
Climb the walls
Wade through the morning paper
Drag my heels
Push my luck
Make mountains out of mole hills
Hit the nail on the head
Bend over backwards
Jump on the Band Wagon
Run around in circles
Advise the President on how to run the country
Toot my own horn
Pull out all the stops
Add fuel to the fire
Open a can of worms
Put my foot in my mouth
Start the ball rolling
Go over the edge
Pick up the pieces.
Kneel in prayer
Bow my head in thanksgiving
Uplift my hands in praise
Hug someone and encourage them

What a Workout!

  1. Good morning, Kenju. Michele didn't send me, but I saw you've been there so I came by. I see I get to comment first to this post. Woo hoo!

Great list. Can I add one? How about "Walk the line"?

    Have a great day!

  2. I dunno, Judy. I think your doctor must not be in the loop when you devised this program. You might want to run it by him or her. Y'know? In the meantime let me tell you about my diet plan. It's a seafood diet. I see food, I eat it. LOL

Yeah, I know. It works better out loud. Michele sent me over to your place and since I'm at my girlfriend's, it's a very short trip!

  5. greetings Michele sent me.

sounds like you are following my excersize program... its all things i can do from my computer chair.

on a side note... have you noticed that when you are ill and are given a prescription for pain killers (like percocet) and have taken said pills, and really should be laying down, but are blogging instead, the word verificatioms are easier to read on drugs than when you arent taking said pain killers?

  9. These are great, but I doubt your doctor will think much of their aerobic potential.
