  1. Hi Judy. Michele sent me over!

In all those items, I only counted 4 that I could eat on my February/no animal products diet. And that's assuming those 4 were made with no butter or cheese. *sigh*

The menu does sound good but a little rich for my tastes. Still, even for my simple tastes and picky food habits there's items on the menu that I'd love to have. But I never got an invitation. So sad...

  2. Oh, man. They won't even be able to ship the overflow to the poor people in New Orleans. Ain't nobody gonna eat THAT stuff! Maybe the superthin models in NYC would take it, to prevent them from eating.

  5. What the heck is a "Smart" chicken breast? If the chicken was really smart, her puffy parts wouldn't be sitting on a plate ready to be eaten by an Oscar contender.

  8. Aha ! Aged cheddar. So that's where it went. They've been in our fridge again.

  9. I want to meet the person who is capable of eating all of that!

The level of conspicuous consumption - over and above the 5-figure goodie bags that presenters get, and the block-long limos, and the mortgaged dresses, and... - makes me sad. The world really is an unfair place when the amount spent on someone's hairdo would feed a family for six months.

  17. That is ridiculous.

  18. Why? Why? They can all afford to go out and buy dinner for themselves. They should let hungry people eat from this buffet.
