A frog king with wings., holding a gilt oak leaf.

A court jester. I have a few of these in different types and sizes.

A banjo-playing frog, also one of a pair.

The snowman is the oldest ornament I have. It was my mother's and she bought it in the 40's. It is one of the earliest examples of plastic ornaments. He has a hole in his side to hold a candy cane.

As I told Naomi (OOLOTH), I love it when ornaments have meaning... I give my kids one ornament every year, so we have a tree FULL of memories!

  6. I relate to your jester. I need one like that to represent me, but an old tired worn out jester would be more appropriate.

  8. Holy Christmas!
    Love it.
Love the frog with wings, I like ornaments that are a little out of the oridnary, and am always glad to see trees that have a lifetime worth of ornaments. I never much cared for the trendy trees that all have monochromatic boring balls.

  12. Oh, no! No one would expect you to have frogs anywhere on your tree! I would imagine you would have a special tree just for the frogs..... now you need a frog tree topper!

  19. Oh I love your ornaments! Fun! And I love your use or ribbon. Ribbons make a tree or a banister. :) Wish my cats would leave them alone. lol But alas, I'm ribbonless.
    Gorgeous decorations!
