My mom's family were all singers, so whenever they got together they would sing many french songs...some of Piaf's also. I will be going to France with my new husband next year so I hope to visit the museum. Since my hubby is from there I will have my own personal tour guide to all the good stuff lol.Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02640737315196786989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10194064.post-1150315609680284042006-06-14T15:06:00.000-05:002006-06-14T15:06:00.000-05:00This is one of my favorite songs. Have many of her CD's, visited her museum and grave in Paris. I also read a book about her...the name of it escapes me at the moment....she had quite a life, but certainly left her mark in Paris.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10194064.post-1150295586514784852006-06-14T09:33:00.000-05:002006-06-14T09:33:00.000-05:00Just lost my comment so here I go again (about to ...Just lost my comment so here I go again (about to take that road again)
Catching up and loved the cartoons.
Piaf has always been a favourite and I made a pilgramage to her grave in Paris but ooh la la she was very naughty.
One of my favourite poems is 'They are not long the days of wine and roses.' by Ernest Dowson.
So all in all I enjoyed that .
